Max Chan is the Chief Information Officer at Avnet, a global technology solutions company that supports customers across the entire product lifecycle in the electronics industry. He leads Avnet’s global IT strategy, enterprise applications, digital platforms, cybersecurity, and AI initiatives.
Since joining Avnet in 2013, Max has served in multiple leadership roles. Under his leadership, Avnet has accelerated its digital transformation and launched enterprise-wide generative AI initiatives focused on engineering design, knowledge management, customer service, and onboarding. He also drives grassroots innovation within IT, embedding AI experimentation and proof-of-concept development into team performance goals.
Before Avnet, Max was CIO for Asia Pacific at VF Corporation, where he led regional IT strategy and enterprise system deployments across the region.
